Technology

Technology Vision

As a school district we believe that the goal of education is to prepare students to become productive participants of society. Technology is critical in achieving this goal. Bridgeton Public Schools will provide access to voice, video, and data for students, parents, and staff. This will be provided through interaction via electronic mail, facsimile, video conferencing, voice mail, and use of the world-wide-web, leading to student-achieving core curriculum content standards. Professional development programs will be provided to continually upgrade the technology skills of teachers, parents, and community members. The technology systems and professional development will be aligned and support all the educational goals and objectives that are established by the school district.

The goals of this grant program are in response to the need to prepare students with the knowledge and skills essential for the digital age and for college and career readiness. This is accomplished in 21st century learning environments through the systematic and transparent integration of technology across the curriculum and in the teaching and learning process.
