POSITION:

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under the direction of the Director of Student Support Services, provides occupational therapy services to identified students.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. School Occupational Therapist Certification
  2. New Jersey Licensed Occupational Therapist

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Provides occupational therapy services to identified students.
  2. Consults with parents regarding occupational therapy services provided to their child.
  3. Consults with teachers regarding their student's occupational therapy program.
  4. Secures parental permission to evaluate and implement occupational therapy services.
  5. Attends all required meetings for students receiving occupational therapy.
  6. Prepares and maintains all required reports for students receiving occupational therapy.
  7. Submits monthly reports and other requested information to the Director of
    Student Support Services.
  8. Other duties as assigned.

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:

Ten Months. Salary to be determined by the Board of Education.

EVALUATION:

Performance will be evaluated in accordance with
Board policies and procedures on the evaluation of professional staff.
