Community Eligibility Program (CEP) & Applications

We are excited to announce that our district will again be participating in the federal program
called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). Our participation means that all students attending Bridgeton Public Schools are eligible to receive breakfast and lunch at no charge throughout the 2020-2021 school year. The New Jersey Department of Education requires that your family complete the Household Information Survey if you have not already done so.

This survey will collect household income information for all students which will be used to calculate school funding levels by the State of New Jersey. The information will ensure that our district receives the correct aid to support all of our schools instructional programs, staffing needs and afterschool programs including athletics. Your information is not shared with any other outside organizations. Each year your family must complete this form and return it to your child's school in order for us to ensure our schools will continue to receive critical state funding. If you do not complete the family survey, the state requires that we report your child as "paid" which may impact your participation in other state or federal programs (i.e. P-EBT cards).
